Gripmaker,
The R-P case has a wee bit more capacity.
settled charge weights:
Goex 2F........ 42.5 grs
Schuetzen 2F 43.7 grs
Swiss 2F....... 46.8 grs

Wano has almost the same density as Schuetzen another b.p. made in Germany.  The ballistic strengths may or may not be similar.
I'll check my notes to see what velocities I achieved with Schuetzen as compared to the other b.p.'s.

W44wcf,   Just found out that Scheutzen powder and the WANO powder sold by Graf and Sons as their brand is exactly the same. That is why the charge weights are so close. Probably just a batch difference between yours and mine except mine is 3F and yours is 2F.  Scheutzen Powder was a joint venture between Wano Schwartzpulvern and Petro-Explo and started in 2001.  I am going back through your posts to see how Scheutzen rated in the power statistics.

Gripmaker,
I did test 36 grs by weight of Schuetzen 3F under the 427098.  Compression was .15" and average velocity 1,259 f.p.s.

Howdy w44scf,

It strikes me that as original guns get older, ammo makers tend to lighten loads to compensate for the guns' increasing age.

Actually they use fast burning powders because they can use less of it and make more $$$  :o
