I've been Googling and looking for a place that I can purchase an Indian War style web "Prairie Belt" with loops for 38 spl.  I'd like to get one in tan and then make another holster for use with my 357 New Vaquero.  Something appropriate for late 1800s.  II don't care if it has a civilian style buckle with leather tongue, etc.or it is a military style.  Most of what I'm finding are for 45 Colt or 45/70, etc  I've already made several holsters/cartridge belts for NVs utilizing leather loops but I'd like to have a Prairie Belt - just likes the look of 'em.

I checked Dave Carrico's site but didn't see anything for 38/357 loops.  I ran across some reviews of what Cabelas sells and the reviews on theirs were not to impressive - someting about plastic in the belt loops and stitching coming loose after very little use.  Like most folks, I want a good quality one where the loops aren't going to come loose or problems with stitching but also don't want to pay an "arm and a leg" either.  I know I can buy the webbing and make one but I really don't want to spend the time on it as I have a lot of things going right now.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?  Thanks.

Drydock - thanks for the link . . . appreciate it!

He only shows leather though and I can make those myself. I'm looking for the "web" or "Mills" type belt where the belt and loops are webbing and the buckle keeper and tongue are leather.  Most of 'em that are available are for the 45 Colt, 45/70 or 30/40 Krag of a combination of the 45 Colt and a rifle cartridge.  I ran across a site that had 'em about a year ago and bookmarked the site . . . but . . . my computer took a dive, I had to get a new one and so I lost the bookmark/site address.

Thanks again!   :)
