Most all photo labs can place any kind of film images on a CD that you can use on the www.  If you have a 35mm or old Kodak 120 that you like, then, just use it.  When you take the film in to be developed tell them you want the images on a CD for use on the www.  The cost here in the DFW area is about the same as having extra prints made, less if you don't want prints, just the CD. 
Another method, if you have a scanner you can scan your prints into you PC and use those to post on the www.
Another way, if you have  prints or negatives that you would like to use on the www take those to your lab and tell them you want the images on a CD.
Some scanners will also work from negatives, however, I have yet to use that system.
Once you have the pics saved in your PC they can be edited. Your Imigation is the limit to what most PC photo processing programs can do.
