BP Load Interior Ballistics

Does anyone here know of an easily available source for interior ballistics (especially pressure values) of various BP loads of the last century...or even of this century?  I am seeking to duplicate long range BP loads for the 44WCF (44-40) with smokeless and need this info.

Matching the pressure of black with smokeless is a severe excercise in folly. Pressure does not have much direct correlation with velocity.
There was no "longrange" load for the 44-40, there was the factory load of a 200 gr bullet at 1300 fps out of a rifle barrel. So grab youself up a copy of Lyman's 49 reloading handbook look at the data there and get to work finding the most accurate load combination out of your rifle.

What is the distance you plan to shoot the 44-40 reloads within your definition of the words ... long range?

One of the problems with trying to match BP "pressure" with smokeless "pressure" is the pressure curve.  A lot of old BP guns have been ruined by low "pressure" smokeless loads.
