The Texas Peacemakers have a pipeline coming smack through our range (Hangtown).  It has been in the talks for years now, but it is finally here.  August 4, 2012 will be the last shoot, NCOWS or SASS , that happens at Hangtown for a while.  While the pipeline is in work, we are not allowed to shoot anywhere on the property.  As such, Hangtown will be a no shoot zone for probably 60-90 days.  We Peacemakers plan to use that time to make improvements to the rest of the property and look forward to a grand reopening.

The August 4 shoot will be a joint venture.  We have invited all shooters, NCOWS and SASS, members and vistors, to come out.  We will run simultaneous NCOWS and SASS matches.  Each person will be able to shoot the style (NCOWS or SASS)  and class they like.  Should be a good turnout.

And congratulations to Bob B. Bodacious.  We presented him with his life membership yesterday during a work day.  It was a happy time to be sure.

More news as things develop.

No.  The Regional is at Jacob's Plain Gun Club, near Greenville, TX

The Peacemakers Range is futher east near Tyler, TX.

The pipeline will not effect our Regional in any way.
