I got a basket case 51 'Navy' brass frame .44, sans barrel. The arbor was totally screwed up and pulled out of the frame. The cylinder on the other hand, was nearly perfect except for one small thing. No nipples. I checked my spare Navy and Army nipples and they were too large. But, the ones for my ASM Colt Wells Fargo, .31 cal, screwed right in. I have to assume that the cylinder is an ASM, in fact, probably a CVA because the frame had no serial number, therefore a kit. Anybody have a line on ASM nipples?

The ASM nipples for my 44 navies & Hartford Army are 12X28 which is the same pitch as the Uberti nipples. In my ASM Hartford 1860 Army I replaced the nipples with ROA Uncle Mike's hexagon replacement nipples and they work great.v If they are too short you can always shim them out a few thou. I'd be glad to explain how.

Thanks! I'll get back with you once I get the new nipples. The only revolver it actually fits on is my Lyman 1860 Army.
