The Arapaho Kid

Next Friday (the 23d) I fly out of Seattle for Grand Junction, Colorado, then iI drive up to Craig.  Saturday I do a shoot with Sagebrush Burns and the Northwest Colorado Rangers.  I'll be taking along my Colt Lightning and I hope to get a higher place on the score sheet than the bottom!  This brings up a question:

Is it better to go through the stages a little faster and miss a few targets than to go slow and hit them all?  I have a thing about hitting all the targets and not missing any.  I am thinking it's better to miss a couple and get a shorter time on stage?  So which is it?  Speed through and miss a few, or take the time and hit 'em all?

I'll be shooting in either Duelist, or Gunfighter...whichever one has the least number of people.

So c'mon pards....help this old trooper out!  Help me get away from my coveted position at the bottom of the barrel!

Think of it this way. If ya go faster and miss targets, ya could of taken 5 seconds to hit the missed target and get the same time.

Well you can't miss fast enough to win.... but there has to be a happy medium.....

Don't try and miss, just speed things up a bit, and this should be done during practice cause when you get to your next match you are only as good as you are, you are not going to be better. (but some days you get lucky)

I would still try to hit them, just faster..... ;)

Arapaho, if all else fails just think of the targets as Birdgun and Derby Younger trying to steal Ms Coltrain from you. ;D

AK, shoot fast... miss less.
