Hi guy's
Ok i eventually got my j hook through the post today, it arrived with three brads, i have never used one of these before so thought i would ask if there was any particular way to fix it, im guessing you cut the brads to size and peen the cut end over on the back of the hook, is there a recommended length i should leave to peen over.

many thanks
john ;)

What I do, is to insert the rivets through the belt and hook, then cut the excess off with an end nipper. Then simply hammer down the rivet to mushroom and flatten over the hook.

Thank's Dave, i thought that would be the case but just wanted to make sure, it's always better to ask than make a mess

all the best
