Does anyone have any experience with Turnbull Open Range Revolvers?  How do they compare to USFA?  I know Turnbull does alot of finishing for USFA, wondering if their guns compare in overall quality.

I didn't shoot it, but saw one offered .... it was an Pietta based gun not USFA.
Drop dead gorgeous, but   :o $1375,  it still is offered  :-\

I did not realize he was using a Pietta to make those.  Now I am sure I would not buy one for that price.  Wowzers!

Thank you for the correction

However the gun I handled was a Pietta, and it was finished by Turnbull
complete with dancing Bull logo.

As stated it was beautiful piece just well out of my market

I have one of Doug's single actions in .45.  I dressed it up with Eagle Ultra-ivory gunfighters and installed a Lees gunslinger spring kit.  I was amazed at its accuracy without any action work. it shoots better and smoother than another USFA.45 I have which has a custom action job.  Doug polishes the parts so it is buttery smooth. Thanks, Doug, for the great piece of workmanship. Kincahfoonee Kid
