I though it might be ...

I have done quite a few as props for films.
I don't so much go for an antique finish, as seasoned look..a gun that has a few years of use & holster life.
Removing marks is paramount ..one does not want a gun in a close-up with "BLACK POWDER ONLY" visible.
when planets align...do the deal !

I don't know how I would say anything that hasn't already been said but I can say that you and the other gentlemen on this forum have inspired me to go back to something that I put down 20 years ago.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I didn't realize how much I missed it and needed it to be who i am.
Lost..... I ain't never been lost...... fearsome confused fer a month er two once... but I never been lost.

CB,
I am sorry to hear about your injury, getting old and getting hurt is't what I had planned and I am sure that it wasn't what you wanted either :o But as you said, got to make the best of what we are given!!
Very beauitfull peices of Art you have shown use, I am very greatfull that you could take the time to post the pic's for all of us to injoy :) :) I am also great full to you for the DVD series you put out on making Frontier Holsters I watch it a lot and learn something new everytime. I need to get me a car charger for my laptop so I can watch them when the wife is in the mall shopping, while I am in the car reading.
I hope that you recover as soon as possible and that everything goes okay!

My thought and prayers will be with you!

Amazing work!!!!   Wonderful items.   Good luck on the tendon, I ruptured mine 1.5 years ago at 39, trying to act 19.   It is much better, but it was a long process and some days I still walk around like Stumpy.

You know Chuck,

I think you have developed one of the most unique looks I've ever seen.  A Chuck Burrow's piece can be picked out of a crowd just about every time.  There aren't many folks that can be said about.  You have certainly honed your craft into a high art form.

Will - from you that is high praise indeed - now I already where a size 8 hat - do you know anybody who makes them bigger!

Herb Gindulis of Great Plains Hat Company.  He just moved to Cheyenne or someplace.  I could track 'im down if you get desparate.

Chuck, it's nice to get a perspective from you and all the other pros who have shared the same frustrations and trudged through to success.

I never get tired of looking at your work, Chuck.

What I also really appreciate is the staging of your photos.

It's a very inspired (and inspiring) presentation.

I've got my excuses and I'm stickin' to 'em.

I've spent a lot of time and effort recently in my crafting, exploring unique designs and uncommon materials. While this has been very rewarding and I am proud of the work I have completed, after taking some time to really study Chuck's recent work and look back over the gallery on the Wild Rose site I'm definitely going to shift gears on my next personal project. I'm inspired to go "old school" on my next gun rig for my new USFA pistols. I'd like to try making my own natural dyes, use only EVOO and pure bees wax and do some traditional floral carving on my new gun belt and shoulder holster combo. No fancy or oddball materials, no special linings or the like. I'm inspired to try and capture the Old West essence in my next project piece.

Thanks for the inspiration Mr. Barrows, it's very much appreciated! As Will said earlier, your style is so utterly unique and distinctive that it can't help but spark your creative drive when you look at them.
See me takin' shots at the bar like I'm bullet-proof.

Thanks, Craig.  Your efforts are appreciated... more than you can know.
