Want to buy

I'm looking for a good used or new Uberti Schofield. I want a calvery model with the 7 inch barrel in .45 colt caliber. 

I would like to keep the price somewhere around $800.00 if possible.

If nothing comes available I will wait until the April gun show here and see if I have any luck.

Right now I'm just shopping, but if the right gun comes along I will jump on it.

Good luck in your search Rick.  I bought mine new from Navy Arms a few years back.  ($825.00).   I've been real pleased with it.  It's the military version with the 7 inch tube and plain wood grips with the inspector's cartuche cut into the left grip panel.  45 Colt caliber.  I would prefer fancier grips for it but haven't been able to find anything I like for it.

One thing to be careful about.  On the second listing it lists a Cimarron Schofield but does not list the maker.  The early Cimarron Schofields were made by ASM and not Uberti.  They are junk and there are no parts available.  Make sure it is a Uberti.

Thanks for that info.  I do have one of those ASM ones but it's been a good one. I've heard about the crap ones.
I am only looking for an Uberti one. I don't care who imports it as long as it is an Uberti.

I got lucky and was able to find a great gun exactly like I wanted. Thanks for everyone on their feedback. Especially Poncho. Without his help I wouldn't be owning this new Schofield.
