After modifying the Pietta 1851 Navy revolver in the last few videos to improve its handling and reliability, we finally take it to the range for a shooting session.

Great video Mike and very useful information.  Any more comments as to the reshaped grip as this really has me intrigued?  My biggest problem revolves around the urban legend that Slowhand Bob with a file is about the scariest thing known to man!  I am actually thinking about advertising for a couple of used back strap grips to sperrymint with first.

Great Video!

But do you think the Slick Shot nipples would work with my old EMF/Pietta .44 Cal '51 Colt (I know, I know; The Gun That Never Was ... )?

If it is a Pietta, I recon they would work. I have an E.M.F. .44 caliber 1851 made by Armi San Marco, and I'd like to find out the thread size on that gun's nipples.

Bottom Dealing Mike,

I had thought to 'just' uscrew the nipple (which may be much easier said than done) and send it in when I ordered the nipples ... what is your opinion of the idea?

Great video Mike.

One question. After your first miss, were you hitting the targets you were aiming at, or had you left the unscathed target alone and shifted to the next targets? ;D

Actually, very good shooting, you are better than me. It looks like you were pulling your hits on the steel target just a bit to the left. I usually pull them a lot more than that.
That's bad business! How long do you think I'd stay in operation if it cost me money every time I pulled a job? If he'd pay me that much to stop robbing him, I'd stop robbing him.

Ya probably inherited every penny ya got!

Yeah, I think I'm tilting the gun a bit to the left when I shoot one handed. I need to work on that.
