Miz Letty, Several years ago at our CAF Air Show in Midland, I had the opportunity to met the crew of an Anti-Subnarine airplane(Nimrod) from the RAF. They flew to Midland, Texas from their base in northern Scotland. Guinness sponsored their trip. They had the bomb bays full of cases Guinness Stout in Tall Boy cans. I was sitting at a table by myself and the crew asked if they could sit with me and I said yes. The 2 flight engineers had a case under each arm. The Guinness was warm, but we drank those 4 cases with our BBQ. It was good.

It is important to let it stand 15 minutes before dipping. I have made beer batter of different types for years, love it for Crappie and Brim. But Cod and Catfish are good that way also
