Howdy Friends!

Just to keep confusion to a minimum, the first shoot of the 2012 season for the SMVS club will be held this coming Sunday, the 25th of March, 2012.

We will gather between 09:00-10:: to register and have our safety meeting at 10:00.

Please come to shoot and PLEASE help with setting up the range, as that task has fallen on only a few shoulders and more folks need to help.  As usual, it will be informal, but the more folks who show the more organized it can be.

Also, most members will or already have received a card with notice for a Shooter's Meeting.  This will be held in the meeting room at the Greenwood, IN. Gander Mountain at 10:00 on Saturday, the 7th of April.  You can dress Olde West or not, your choice.  We will then hopefully elect officers and determine the day of the month to shoot - either Saturday or Sunday.  Last year, there was a majority who voted for Sunday shoots, so we changed.  Frankly, we had fewer folks show up to shoot than we had, but we will see what happens.  Bill will be mailing all current members a voting card to return so people who can't attend the meeting will still have a voice in deciding issues.  PLEASE plan to be there.

I look forward to seeing and shooting with all of you again this year!

Well, 6 of us shot.  One of our members had ammo trouble and decided to fix things before shooting another match.

Though it was a small turnout, it was pretty good considering that there was some confusion as to which day (Sat. or Sun.) we'd shoot, or whether April would see the first shoot.

I had posted that we would shoot online here & in the Chambers, but not everyone got the word.  Plus, two of our Old-Timers were dealing with health issues.
