Sitting Duck

Just getting back in to shooring after a 7 year vacation. I am looking for US cavalry pants. I found a number of places that sell them the only problem is they are wool.  I am allergic to wool.  Any suggestions?

Thanks  Sitting Duck

You might check some of the sutlers stores and cowboy websites for patterns. Quitea few places sell patterns for reencatment clothing. That way you, or someone that really likes you, could make them up in any material that you wanted.
I will no longer respond to the rants of the small minded that want to sling mud rather than discuss in an adult manner.

Get hold of Leta at Coon Creek outfitters in (I believe) Tucson, AZ.  She will make what you want.  Her work is absolutely excellent and prices are reasonable.

Thomas O'Hawk

Mercury Sutler had some Jean Cloth (cotton) pants.  That is what I am wearing in my Avatar pic to the left. You can get Trouser Trim  or officer trim in the common colors (Arty Red, Cav Yellow, Black, Blue) for a bit extra.
