Spencer Serial # Question

I am trying to find any information on a Spencer Carbine, Serial Number: 21829
Can anyone tell me when it was produced or to what unit it may have been issued to?

Closest serial # to yours I find in the SRS books is 21833, a Spencer Carbine that was maybe re-issued to a member of Company A, 18th Kansas Volunteer Cavalry in July, 1867 (not a mis-print, that's what it says in the SRS Book).
