A little story about a little item....

I'm sure many of us have an RCBS case deburring tool someplace on the bench.

If it is an older one, it is probably a bit frustrating to use it on .44/.45 caliber cases. It is a bit too small for .45. Yes, it works, but you have to be patient with it to keep it properly centered on the case mouth, especially the outside cutter end.

Anyway, I found that they have recently pretty much discontinued the old tool (there is still old stock still around) and replaced it with one that goes to .60 caliber... yup, it will even do .50 BMG cases.

Anyway, I got one and it is a whole lot easier to do the bigger calibers with it than the old, smaller tool.

The new tool is sharpened differently than my old, smaller tool. At first, I didn't think that it would cut as well with the different cutting surface angle but when I started using it I found that it cut just as quickly and left a much nicer cut as well.

It goes for about $22 bucks.  Who says money can't buy a little bit of happiness?  ;)
