I had look at some sites and wondering wich had the best grip for 40-70 dollars.I live in Sweden so I dont want to order grip from Usa and when it arrive it is bad quality,I want nice and good grip for my Uberti but not real ivory.
Have a nice SHOOTING day.
Best regards.

There are a number of outfits making faux Ivory grips.

Most will need some fitting to your gripstraps and frame in order to look right and to provide a safe, secure grip.

These vendors produce some quality grips - though there are more.

I was wondering about faux ivory grips. Arn't they rather slick for drawing, especially on a hot day?

I have Faux ivory on my 1858s and yes they tend to be a little slick. You get used to them and remember to bring paper towels especially if you use Crisco as lube like I do!  ;Di

Take a look at www.barsgrips.com , look at the Truivory grips. I have 6 pair, and they are very nice looking. They are hand made from start to finish. If you have questions about them, you can ask me i might be able to answer them. I know the owner, so i can get the answer for you.
