As an FYI for a modern day two cylinder pouch on the belt - take a leather speed loading cylinder pouch, cut the flap off and then punch a hole in the bottom of the leather.  The bottom hole is a convenient way to insert your finger the push the cylinders out of the holder

Note the dovetailed sights ont the front and back of the barrel. A lot of the original Colt Navies I have seen at gun shows had dove tailed front sights. Makes me suspect that alot of the originals shot off windage wise just like some of the Italian repros I have owned.
