My wife and I are thinking of heading south of the border to Winter range in 2013 and I was looking at the paperwork that I have to submit a head of time(we are going to Cody in June). One of the paragraphs talks about the importation of US government supplied firearms and how it is not allowed. I would like to take my M1903 Springfield for the Long Range match and my Winchester M97 Trench gun for Wild Bunch. Will BATF allow them into the country?

I've got all that information from the BATF site plus I live less than a mile from Rattlesnake Jack. My concern is with para 7 of the Instruction sheet for 6NIA(5330.3D) which states "Firearms which are of US Government origin or that contain US Government origin manufactured parts or components generally may not be temporily imported into the United States."

I've never done it, yet. That sounds pretty clear to me.  Sounds like you shouldleave those two behind.
