Special knife and sheath.

This knife I got today from my GOOD friend John Cohea. It is one of a kind. As you can tell it is a modern knife he gave me as a gift. It is not his normal old, rugget PC style work. He made it in honor of our lost friend and BROTHER Dave Cole. The sheath was made by  me. It will go in the display case I am having made for some of the beautiful Knifes Dave for me. There will be 10 of Daves , one of Johns and one item of mine in ths case. I will show picts when finished. Thank you John KT

The knife and sheath are beautiful KT, but what's even nicer is you making a perminent place for Dave's work to be displayed, you have a big heart KT, and I think Dave will be very happy with his own display in your home.

There is a story behind this knife.This is a knife Terry designed with the intention of Dave making it for him.Sadly, Dave passed away before the knife could be made.Terry ask me if I would be interested in making it for him in Dave's memory.My response was I would be happy to, and it would be a gift from me.As mentioned, the design is Terry's, and the knife was made to scale per the drawing,OAL is 8 1/2", and the materials are:blade steel, turkish twist damascus by Chad Nichols, guard is tri color mokume, also by Chad.Handle is mammoth tooth, buffalo horn,and marble cake english walnut.
