Been hankering and saving for some open tops for awhile. Worked enough overtime and I went and got me two 1872 open top cavalry  in .44! ;D ;D

They shoot great even if ones a army grip and ones a navy, but I do like to mix it up a little :P ;). All I gotta do now is find a gunsmith around Houston to lengthen the chambers to take .44 specials 8)

Very nice.  Try Allan Harton, Single Action Service.  He is just off 59 not too far SW of the loop, working out of a garage shop behind his home.  Great single action gunsmith.  He has worked on all my OT's, conversions, etc.  Post or PM me if you need his number.

Yes a buddy recomended Mr. Harton, I left him a voicemail and about to send him an email and get up with him. Does he work on rifles also? I'm going to be needing some tuning when I get it soon
