I don't see what it's difficult to understand how it could be sold out from the manufacturer but still available on dealer's shelves.

Yeah, it's frustrating!  Ten Ring was supposed to get two of 20th Anniversary guns (2?) and they state that they have already been sold. Trail Creek makes no mention of them on their web site and I couldn't find anything more than a forum web site for RMB Enterprises.
Considering that Ten Ring was a major dealer and promoter for USFA, you would think that they would have received more than two guns.  Makes one wonder just how many of those anniversary guns were actually made.

Go to Ten Ring  you will see the 2 - 20th Anniversary guns are sold.
They also show just 4 remainging guns listed as not sold or sold on layaway

I cut and pasted this ...for you from the Ten Rings site

The USFA single actions listed below are the last of the last.  There will probably never be any more of these high quality six-guns created.  I might be able to have a few more built, but the chances of that happening are slim to none so if you desire one of these fine USFA's I would "strongly suggest" you buy one "now."  The four single actions you see below will probably be gone within the next couple of weeks.

and in bold blue print the following also from the same web page....

MOST FINE USFA'S ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. EVEN IF USFA GOES BACK INTO PRODUCTION THE RODEO MODELS WILL NEVER BE MADE AGAIN!

Yet yesterday I got the afor mentioned e-post card

I para-phrase...." Limited edition! Edition sold out "  " Now available from the following dealers "  :-\
OK sold out ...but now available ?????

"No more made"..."slim to none"...."NEVER BE MADE AGAIN"

do your see a pattern ?

Old Doc

According to an e-mail from him yesterday, which I saw, Gary Granger is no longer employed by USFA. :'(

Uh yeah, I've read all that. I came really close to ordering one of the $2100 engraved models, then one of the $1500 engraved cylinder models. First from CDNN, then from Ten-Ring. Then I found one on Gunbroker for $1200.

But I thought we were talking about the anniversary model???

I've been talking about the writing on the wall for a year.

I was pointing out  the 20th anniversary model is SOLD OUT but according to the e-poost I just got ....

it says  "Now available from the following dealers"

It's sold out, as in not available....then their own dealer put in writing....

There will probably never be any more of these high quality six-guns created.  (any model is what I understood it meant.)
and
MOST FINE USFA'S ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. EVEN IF USFA GOES BACK INTO PRODUCTION THE RODEO MODELS WILL NEVER BE MADE AGAIN!

Now Gary Granger is gone.... say goodnight Gracie

As I posted in the other thread, I heard Gary was gone when trying to order a box. I think some other folks may be there. In my limited recent dealings  with Doug and Gary they could not have been nicer.

I do know Alex' 2 guns at Ten Ring are gone. It was hard to tell on the other sites. Could be end of an era--or maybe start of something new. Doug did indicate a new direction--I am sure whatever it is it will be first rate.

That 'new direction' must be the circling of the drain...
