howdy all!

I'm workin on a rig for a customer who wants about 30 bullet loops laced on his belt.  According to my math, this is going to require a loop strap in the neighborhood of ~70 inches!  To achieve this length, would splicing two straps together be strong enough?

Thanks all!

When I have had to splice the strap, skive both ends to reduce thickness and start in the center and lace out from there so the splice is hidden and use a rivet or chicago screw to anchor it in place in the middle.

I've done lots and lots like this and never had one fail.

I allow for 72 inches for thirty 45 caliber loops. Usually takes about 70 but sometimes for some reason a little more.

If you don't have strips that long do as Ned said.

Yep what Ned said - as to figuring length I generally use 2.5 - 3" per ctg plus a couple of inches on both ends..
