Some Brass

Can I use the brass trigger guard of the 1858 on my 1875 (I assume it be Uberti for Uberti  and Pietta for Pietta). I like the look of the brass and think it'll bling up my 2 Frontiers alittle.

Thanks I really want to add some color to the gun this looks to be the best way.
I need some grips got DQ'ed this weekend for sending one over the been not happy about it the gun keeps sliding in my hand I think I'm going to go back to the pinky under the grip.

Ok VTI cannot get the brass guards for the 75 right now so I ordered the guard for a 58 how hard do you think it will be to make it fit my 75.



Oh by the way it anyone has a set they don't like I'll buy or trade you for then.

They are quite different. I don't know how easy it would be to make it fit.

Have you looked into having your trigger guards plated?  It could be cheaper and easier than adapting the brass.

The platers around here will not plate firearms parts in New York you have to be a Gunsmith to do any fire arms parts or work. At least that what they tell me.
