Does anyone have any experience with purchasing a Spencer from Romono? The guns are pricey but they look awsome. I was wondering if they are worth the price compared to a Taylor's. I was also wondering what the waiting time is and if the gun comes with a tuned action and reasonable trigger pull weight etc...  ::)

jTex,

If you try a search on SSS just type in Romano Spencer you will get quite a few hits.  Also, lots of loading information on the Romano Spencer.  I don't own one, I like being married ::) ::) but they do get excellent reviews from SSS members who own one.

Just type in Romano Spencer in the SSS search box.  SSS members will respond I'm sure to your questions.

I do not have one but have been priveleged enough to have been lent one for a week to work out a load, they are extreamly well made guns(works or art would be a better description)they shoot and function flawlesly, expencive but they hold there value ,even rising in price with inflation, one of these rifles is defintly on my bucket list

I am fortunate to own one bought in 1997.  Then I got married in 2000 and that was it for good guns  ;D.

It's put together like a 27 jewel watch and is the best gun I have ever owned.  With the right load its a true tack driver.

Larry's great and easy to deal with as well.

Thanks to you all for the reponse. I should have known that these Romano's were true quality.
