Fired my newly acquired Colt NS .455 t'other day .....

I had shot it previously with two bullet weights - .452/230RN and RCBS/265/HB over 5 grs unique. Both loads shot good groups,  6-8" high at 15 yds. Having a jug of Trail Boss handy, I loaded up some rounds using the .452/230RN over 4.5 grs TB - Bingo! Point of impact was right on point of aim in a nice tight group.

I used brass cut down from Starline and WW .45 Colt cases, and noticed an increase in recoil compared to that of the same load using Dominion brass; I think due to the thicker case wall and solid head. Reducing the load by 1/2 gr might be prudent, although I have fired 4.5 TB in my Tranter loaded in Dominion brass.
It was a toss up as far as accuracy goes between that load and 5 grs Unique in the Tranter, but I think I'll drop the TB load by 1/2 gr even with the Dominion brass.

I think I've found my powder for .455 loads. The only other calibre where I've found a use for TB is .45 Colt.

Thanks PJ;  When I need more smokeless pistol powder, which won't be for awhile, I will consider Trailboss.
