Will, please do not misplace my info and I do already have a postal MO but the care giving has really slowed me more than expected. It may be a few days before I can get everything organized enough to mail but I do think you missed charging for one set of conchos. I will definitely refigure and let you know on the quotes but I am thinking since the MO is already made out for $147, to include moc boot pattern, we can work around that. I am sure that another small order will soon follow on receipt of my next months govt entitlement!

I have one more question, am I just doing the measurement to acquire a length and/or do I need to send the tracing patterns of my feet as well? If all goes well with plans for my relief I am heading home late Tuesday. I might try to call again, if you are home mid week. Personal calls allow me to name drop when talking to friends, "Sure I know Will G".

Hey Blackey Cole,

Short, wide, high-arch feet probably aren't goin' to work with these pattern without some modifications. There are ways to modify the patterns to fit different types of feet. I'll have to make "How-To" booklets just on how to make modifications. There isn't any way I can get to that right now though. If you can hang on long enough, I'll be able to get around to it.

And Rick,

I would rather not make moccasins because most folks don't want to pay for the time it takes me to make 'em. That's why I make my own. I wouldn't pay anyone else a living wage for the time it takes me to make a pair of mocs. That's why I'm trying to design the patterns. That way, folks don't have to spend a fortune, (and they figure out why folks charge so much for mocs).

Also, on the sterling silver buckles, I had to stop ordering those for stock because they cost me too much. My foundry has set a minimum order of $500 now. I don't see five hundred bucks all at once very often. When I do, I have to spend it on things like food, gas, ammo...you know, the essentials. I could work silver buckles into an order when I make one, but it's hit-and-miss when that will be. Sorry I'm not much help.

Yea,hell bein an artist ain't it.That's how it was my my friend Ivan Jesse,heck of a western artist knew alot of the cowboy stars but he had to charge alot for originals and bread and butter came from prints and t-shirts and he finally had to stop that, since we lost him they are way up there.

Yup, that silver buckle is PRICELESS!. I am proud as hell to own it and wear it. and I tell everyone where it came from.

thanks Will, I only wish I could afford to get me a gold one...hehaa...(guess I could send ya my gold nuggets and have em molded..right? I mean gold is about to close today at almost $1800..)

Curley, I'd hang on to that gold. Several years ago I said gold would be fifteen hundred bucks by the end of 2010 and twenty-five hundred bucks by the end of 2011. I was less than a hundred bucks off for 2010, and probably won't be very far off for 2011, (unless they artificially suppress the price of gold with worthless paper gold till after the next election cycle).

Gold will just continue to be worth more as things get worse. And, push-come-to-shove, it most be its most valuable when cast into bullets.
