Welcome sir. I am new myself and just bought my pistol. I was contacted by a member of CAS City who is a member of the Canadian River Regulators here in the Panhandle of Texas. Welcome, from a fellow Oregonian, to this great sport Oregon John !!

Have you been out to any clubs yet?   If not, there is a really nice one up the road a ways in Florence.  They normally shoot the first Sunday of the month but this month and next they are shooting on the Second Sunday.   If ya happen to make it up into the Willamette Valley come visit us at The Oregon Old West Shooting Society just outside Albany.  We shoot the third Sunday and fourth Saturday.  (No Saturday shoot in August).   You can get more info at www.oowss.com

btw:  I think you said you have a 10 yr old son......My son shoots with us occasionally and he is 10.  He'd love to have someone else out there more his age.
