brass 58 remington

  howdy all...   i have a brass framed 58 remington and an r&d conversion cylinder.  i know you cant use the cylinder in a brass gun, but how about if you were to use black powder cartridges?   i do have a steel frame remington also that i do use the cylinder in.

I wouldn't do it myself. It's just to easy to potentially load a smoke-less round in!

Have you seen the nifty little Kirst .22 lr cylinders though? That is the future of my brass frame NMA.
