Picked mine up at the gun shop yesterday, but haven't taken my eyes off of her long enough to post.  From Dixie Gun Works, 45-75, and the best wood I have ever seen on a Uberti.  In short, just plumb tickled.   :)

I do have a question for those of you with a Uberti repro, though.  I had been wanting to buy one of  the repro cleaning rods for this gun, but last night was re-reading one of the magazine articles on them, and the author reports that the hole is too short for the rods.  Anyone know if this has been corrected?  Anyone have one that the rod fits in?

Thanks, all.  I have followed this forum for a while.  Have wanted a '76 longer.  Can't wait to try her out.  Got to go, she's on my gun rack now, and I hear her calling me again.

The ones I got from BA fit fine in my guns....

Thanks, DB.  Those were the ones I was looking at too.  Did you go with the "purely" Winchester, or did you get the 8X32 threaded rod?

Congratulations hhughh.  I've been meaning to get a set of rods from Buffalo Arms to.  I just havent gotten around to it yet.  Post some pictures when you can.
HOLY BLACK?  YOU MUST BE TALKING ABOUT PENNSYLVANIA ANTHRACITE!

Back when I got my rifle, I got the "Winchester" rods along with the rifle and they fit perfectly.  I did wrap paper towels around them to keep them from rattling around tho. ;)

I just got my Uberti '76 in caliber 45-60,  28" barrel from Taylor's & Company. The rifle they said was discounted because it had scratches on the stock near the cresent butt plate. Since I cover the cresent butt plates with leather sleeves the scratches did not bother me and the discount price was too good to pass up. Taylor's were fast... bought on a Monday and had the rifle by Thursday thru my gun dealer. Good price and fast shipment.  Here is a picture of her.

Good looking rife!  Nice job on the butt stock cover. :)
