hello,

I am French and it is my first question on your forum, thank you for forgiving me my poor English.

I'm looking for some informations about a Spencer carbine M 1865 originally all nickel-plated.

There is  W on the lever and the barrel.
The serial number: 10698.

Thank you very much of your help
JJ

Hi Giglico,

Are you joining our Spencer Shooting Society ??? ???

Your Spencer may have gone to France and may have been used in the Franco-Prussian War.
See these two photos:

Your Spencer Carbine was most probably never used or issued to a soldier during the American Civil War.
