Just had one of these delivered, and installed it on my Krag Infantry.  Seems to be a quality piece, Correct color, markings and dimensions.  Works well, adjusts easy, comfortable  on the  shoulder.  I  like it!  With Turners M1887 sling hard to come by, I think  this  is an excellent alternative for a Krag.  Think I'll keep my leather sling for the Trapdoor rifle I  hope to find someday.

Civilize them with a Krag . . .

Drydock,
I don't know if you noticed I had (and still do) one on the 1903 Springfield I used for the Expansion Era match at last year's muster.  You're right, they are pretty nice, and a good price.  My Krag wears an 1887 sling I got from Eureka Arsenal.  It's really nice, but unfortunately I don't think he makes them anymore.

WPG makes good stuff.  Most all of my pre-WWI stuff came from them.

I've been wearing the WPG '30s breeches for riding for several years.  I've always been satisfied with their quality.  I've also got some shirts, web gear, and other things from them.  Haven't been disapointed yet.

As soon as they restock I'll be trying a pair of the M1908 breeches.
