I have been very happy with everything Buck and Leta have done for me.  I need to get their SSANs so I can claim them as dependents.  Have uniforms, hats, patches, insignias, leather, dress belts, dress helmets all supplied by them.

Well, they were so fast and nice to deal with, that I will go back to them for sure.

I agree, they're a good bunch.
If there's anything I would caution folks about, it's don't ask about something unless you're willing to pay for it. I asked about a CSA cartidge box for extra rounds, and next thing I know, I was charged for it and it showed up in the mail. Now, I was fine for that because I did want it, but I never actually told them I wanted to order it, just if they had something like it.

Leta and Buck who ARE Coon Creek are wonderful folks who will try and do anything to help you with what you are looking for.  They work out of their house in Tuscon AZ, Leta manufactures the uniforms herself from scratch although they do carry some pre-made components that are less expensive than her custom made pieces.  Buck lines up vendors to make the leather goods, headgear, and all the other equipment type items.  They have all kinds of small items that are not shown on their web site but you can see them when they vend at Winter Range, EOT and the SASS Convention.  They use to travel around to different events but as they have got up there in age they travel less and usually only to closer events like Tombstone.  They are a true mom and pop outfit.

Leta measured me for my first uniforms at EOT in 2006 and I went to their house later that year to pick them up.  I've been back twice to visit when I was in AZ for shoots.  Anyone living or traveling near Tuscon should contact them and go by for a visit, they are the nicest folks.  They do e-mail but the messages will be short, phone calls will work also.  They are old school and will for instence print out a photo from their digital camera and scan it to send with an e-mail because they know how to do that but not how to upload from the camera.

If you will research what you want and send them documentation or page numbers from a reference book they have they will come close to being able to get it made someway or another.  I started with 2 confederate uniforms in 2006 and now am up to 16 different uniforms ranging from 1861-1916, and from field to full dress.  Coon Creek has made the basic uniform for 12 of those including a lot of the accessories.

I first met them at a SASS event in Oklahoma several years before I ordered by first uniforms in 2006.  After 5-1/2 years and 12 uniforms they are like family.  If you talk with them tell um Scout (Don) said Hi.

Sorry did not mean to ramble on.
