Gentlemen;

I present, for your viewing pleasure, an original New Model Army, serial number 99353.  It belongs to a neighbor of my Dad, and I have virtually no history on it.  The bore and lock up are very good, with only a small bit of pitting in the bore.  The rest of the bore shines like a new dime.  Given the opportunity, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot this one.  And yes, I would love to monkey stomp the idiot who clamped the frame in a vice.

I have to say that's a nice Pistola! Even with the vise marks (which look recent)..........
That is also one of the best roll marks I have seen on the top of the barrel, most of them appear unevely applied.
Anonymity breeds bravado.......especially over the internet!

It certainly was a pleasure to handle and clean up.  About all I did was give it a good scrub with a nylon bristle brush and Ballistol and give the bore a good scrub with a brass brush.  Those vice marks about broke my heart.  The current owner doesn't know anything about them...or so he claims.
