Well my gunsmith friend had a nice surprise for me this week.

A pair of OT's I bought a few months back that needed work was done and a new set of 51 Navy coversions with 38 special barrel liners cut down to 5 inchs was done too.

Always good to get yer guns back and ready to run.  FWIW, I haven't been shootin' my 44ELR RVs very well lately and my OTs with Kirst Konverter cylinders are my first choice.

You'll like those OTs.

State or federal law one, can't remember which, requires that those pistolas be shot with the BLACK stuff only...........as if I needed to point that out.

There is another powder?

I do have a set of 38 spl OT's that will suffer the sacrifice of some smokeless as I get either one or both daughters into Cowboy shooting.

The conversions will never see anything but black and I had the newest 51 conversions cut down so that if my daughters get hooked on BP like me they will be set with a good set of pistolas.
