I have pard, that just joined our NCOWS Posse.... He is a Member of The Son of Confederate Veterans,
and got interested is WAS...

He got a Uberti Walker last Christmas and it's the only revolver he has.... he wants something to shoot in WAS
He could use the Walker but hankers for a Cartridge revolver.
I even mentioned the drop-in Cylinders for Walkers, he allowed the Walker might be a bit heavy ( he's right )
But, economy being what it is....it was an option  

He's new to WAS/CAS but owns a shoots a Rifled Musket. He has not as yet, entered here so
At his request...

I'm testing the waters.... Would anyone be willing to trade "something" for the Walker ? It is like new in box, it has been fired a very few cyl. full ,  cleaned and is in great Cond.

He'd want something in 45 LC or even 38 Cal. Uberti Cattleman or Pietta , perhaps a Conversion Remy or Richards & Mason.

This would be trade, perhaps with a cash difference   (I have no dog in the fight ) all details I relay to him

Recently if not still, Tanner's sporting goods in Pennsylvania has/had Uberti Cattleman "Hombres" on sale for $250 each in 45LC or 38/357mag. They are the millenium matte black non-glare finish with the shorter barrels (4 3/4"?). I do not know if there are any restrictions on finishes (e.g. stainless) with NCOWS. I am unaware of any coating restrictions in SASS.

The Matte finish is not recognized in NCOWS, However it can be buffed or even stripped for aged look.
It is OK for SASS as you said.
