I know this is an old topic, but I've been gone a long time.  Too long, it seems...

There's a saying in my family, a man can be judged by the people who mourn for him in his passing.

Mr. Cole, like Tom, was one of the first people I came into contact with here on the CASCity forums.  In PM he and I talked about all manner of things, and Mr. Cole being the man he was saw right into my soul.  The decisions I made that bleak January in 2009 were made with a ton of confidence given to me by Mr. Cole.  He was a great mentor to me, not just here in CAS but to get an injured and heart-wounded veteran back on his feet, away from alcohol, and all manner of bad things, and helped me make the life I have now.

I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for men like Mr. Cole.  He will be sorely missed.
