Howdy Pards! I've been working on some knife sheaths lately this is the latest. It's a Plains Indian style rawhide sheath with a veg tanned leather lining and welt. Traditional decoration with tin cones, horse hair and beads. Still working on the knife for it though.  :-\

Rossmaker I have a lot of rawhide sheaths. I really like them. The one your showing is just plain OUTSTANDING. Thanks for showing. KT
Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

Rossmaker, that is a fine looking piece. Very nicely done.  I love working with rawhide but don't get to do it very often.

Thanks KT!! :)  Gun Butcher this is first full sheath I've done in rawhide, I've only done some leather sheaths with a rawhide insert. I enjoyed working with it as well, it has such great texture.
