My first go-cart was a wooden ironing board and four lawnmower wheels.........almost 50 years ago. 

Much to my wife's delight, two years ago I bought a wooden ironing at an auction sale - under 20 bucks if I recall correctly.

Has an old uncle that lived way back in a holler in West Virginia that had an old dog that would chase and tree a particular coon depending on what sized stretching board you showed him. Went to visit a while back only to find out the dog had run off and never came back. My uncle blamed his wife fir his loss .... After all, she was the one who leaned that danged old wooden ironing board up on the back porch...
