Murphy's Mix (??) & Ballistol

I have also used Simple Green on some of my auto pistols the same way. It works great and my guess is it would be great with black powder also, being mostly water based.

Do NOT however use Simple Green on aluminum as it etches & erodes it. The military found this out the hard way.
