Long Juan here.  I have been trying to track down copies of articles by Will Ghormley that appeared in the Shootist (NCOWS magazine) 1996-2004.  These were articles about making holsters, belts, etc.  The articles have been recommended as a great resource for someone getting started.  I have a list of the articles and the issues in which they appeared, but have been unsuccessful so far in my efforts to find them through various posts on the NCOWS forum.  Even talked to Will, but he does not have copies either.  Thought I would try here. Anyone?  ??? Thanks.

There were a few articles in the Leathercrafters and Saddlers Journal that Will wrote too. I think the West Texas holster was one, and roping cuffs. Those are the only ones I have seen so far in my back issues.

Thanks Dalton.  I found those while surfing last night.  I am planning to order the back issues or the articles if the back issue is sold out.  Learn lots here, but also trying to get as much education as I can from articles, videos, etc.

No problem! They are very good articles, and he does picture the carving step by step on the holster one. That helps a bunch.
