Is it feasible for a group of us to buy some Colt stock to have a little say to production of the SAA? I wonder how much stock it would take? I'd like to see'm continue the BP frame and up production a bit.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.

Shotgun Franklyn:

As far as I have been able to determine, Colt's Manufacturing Company, LLC is not a public company and is privately held.  If this is the case then stock is not available for sale and the only way you can make a statement is with your pocket book by buying the models you want from current production.

"Founded in 1836 by Samuel Colt, the company is about 85%-owned by investment firm Zilkha & Co., which has been breathing new life into the company since 1994 when it bought the firm out of bankruptcy."  - The owner and Chairman of the Board for Colt is Donald Zilkha.

Colt's Manufacturing is reported to currently have 86 employees so it is not a large company.

The 2011 Colt Custom Shop Price List does not show a black powder frame as an option, only a Bullseye Ejector Rod Head......at $55.
