I've just acquired a Euroarms New Model Army in a trade. It's long out of production so I can't find out much about it except that it's closer in size to the originals than any of the other RNMA clones. Going through my DGW catalog, I see that recommended ball sizes range from .451 to .457, depending on manufacturer and model. Does anybody know the best ball size for the Euroarms?
Thanks in advance for any help.

They are still being made. S&S Firearms sells them. Bought one last year.

.454 or .457

.457 might be a tad snug.

.454 worked best on the one I had back in the early '90s.

I apologize ... I have been out of the loop for a while. Evidently, Euroarms has ceased production of rifles and revolvers as of January. Pedersoli has purchased them, I heard.

I use .457 in all.   ASM, Pietta, & Euroarms.  Works good.
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

I've been using .451 in mine for the last thirty years. At the same time, it IS thirty years old and there are a lot of variations that can be found even within the same year of manufacture, especiallly in the older ones.
The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.
