1860 army?

I have a 2nd genereation Colt 1860 army I picked up recently. It has some nasty looking marks right at the cylinder notches and is just barely marking the cylinder with a "turn" line. Is my assumption that the cylinder bolt stop is too long and needs fit better. I have all my Colt Saa's fit so there is never a turn line, the bolt just slides into the cylinder notch perfectly and I figured these should work the same. I attached a pic which I hope is clear enough to explain what I'm asking. thanks.

Something is wrong with your bolt. Here is a pic of the cylinders of both my 1860 Colt's 2nd Generation and Signature Series pistols after firing several hundred rounds out of each.

Thanks, I thought as much. The pistol appears to index correctly so I figured it was the bolt. The pics aren't the best but it's almost like the bolt is striking so hard it's even raising a burr. And I have never had a turn line on my Saa's but I have done little work with the BP models.
