Only two months away. Mark your calendars, April 9 & 10, 2011. Kansas Vigilance Committee (NCOWS) and GAF will be hosting a regional GAF shoot at Duck Creek in Reading, Kansas (N38* 33.643 / W096*30.112).

Registrations open to anyone and will be limited to 25 shooters.

Registration forms should be available on the dispatches page of the Grand Army's Web site   http://www.grandarmyofthefrontier.org  and the NCOWS web page   http://www.ncows.org   by next week.

This muster will be a primitive camping event. Saturday night meal will be provided, all other meals participants plan on cooking yourself.

Saturdays stage will be of the skirmish format with about 30 - 40 knock down targets.
Sunday's stage will be two stages 10 targets each.

If enough participants show up on Friday we will have a two hundred yards target long range match.

Bring plenty of ammo, you will be reloading on the clock. Round counts will be dependent on the number of times the shooter needs to shoot at each target to get it to fall. Everyone will shoot a clean match.

Registration is filling up fast; a few spots are still open. If you want to shoot at this event get your registration in. Registration forms are available on the dispatches page of the Grand Army's Web site   http://www.grandarmyofthefrontier.org  and the NCOWS web page   http://www.ncows.org .
