Hello All,

I got the biggest kick watching the Darksiders at my local Cowboy Range. Great Fun. I bought a Pietta 1851 Confederate Navy in .36 cal. $160.00 with a spare cylinder. I hope this revolver works out as a good starter while I learn BP.
I will be studying this forum before posting so as to not take anyones time while I start this learning process.
I hope I picked a good revolver to start on. Any comments and advice is greatly apprieciated.

Thanks,
Old Overholt Rye

Don't worry about taking anyone's time!  There are lots of genuine experts here who will speak from experience!  Read by all means, but if you have questions, ask them!  That's what this forum is about!  And you're right, black powder is fun.

I became a Darksider more than thirty years ago, never regretted it!
The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.
