A good friend has a Mares Leg '92 in 44-40, was wondering if anybody has one or has seen one. Just an honest opinion would very much appreciated.

I have only seen them in the catalog, but having seen plenty of Chiappa '92's, I expect the Mares Leg should be pretty nice.  What really caught my eye is that they list two models.  One is what most of us would call "standard" and is a cut down carbine with round barrel.  The other has an octagon barrel and is actually a take-down model, which seems kind of weird since it is already so small, but it is nice-looking.
