I found this holster I had played with a few years back. It was stitched up but still naked and laying in this box. SOO, I decided to try to make it pretty.

Here is my newest Wild Bunch rig. It is based on the Frasier one in the Packing Iron book, minus the strap and a few minor things.
It is lined with pigskin, dyed in coffee, and spotted in nickel silver. I hope to find some nickel silver conchos like the ones on the Frasier rig sometime, but these will do for now.

I am working on a mag pouch to match right now to match, and might make a belt if I ever get time.

Told you I been busy, GCR.... ;)

Dalton,

I really don't know What Frasier's conchos looked like, but Will Ghormley has some plain silver ones made for him to go on his Johnny Ringo rig, and he will seel them indivudually ... here is his website ... look at the Johnny Ringo rig and see if that is near what you want ...

Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

Dalton, you did a beautiful job on it. That would make Frazier proud. Outstanding.

Dalton, I look forward to seeing the completed rig with matching mag pouch and belt.
Here in Michigan there is quite the open carry "movement" going on (it's legal) and I've often thought, if you're gonna flaunt it, do it in style.
Your rig would certainly do that! :D

Looks great DM, any cowpoke from the early 1900s would have been proud of this.  I still want to make another heavier and fuller pattern for the 1911 Wild Bunch guys but Spring yard work is starting to rear its head in our parts.  Be sure and give us another look when the pouches are ready.  That is one item that I still worry about with my rigs.  So far the pards who are testing them indicate that they like them but they are radically different and only time will tell if they can stand up to SASS Wild Bunch shooting.

Howdy Dalton,
Very very nice! This Holster has a real classic look to it. Many thanks for sharing it with us.

Now , I like that!!  Amazing what we throw in the SOMEDAY box when we run out of ideas.  ;)

Dalton, your Frazier copy looks like it came right out of Packing Iron, great job pard, Marshal Will turned me on to this design, and I really like, a mag. pouch and belt would really go nice with this, and would also be giving KT a run for his money with the bling, Har Har. ;D

Dalton  that is a nice looking holster. Love the bling.
