Hi all...new guy here.  I've worked with leather on and off for years, but I just started working with horse hide this year and for some reason I can't get it to take dye worth beans...any suggestions or help would be appreciated

Welcome to our forum pard, we're glad to have you with us, I can't answer your question, I've never worked with horse hide, but maybe one of the other pards will chime in here and will be some help to you, I use natural dyes, you might want to look at our FAQ/HOW-TO - LINKS TO THREADS THAT EXPLAIN THINGS, you'll find this on the main board at the top , just click on the left side where it say The leather shop, where the holsters are pictured, you'll find a lot of information there, good luck with this.
